The items that we sell at Discount Knives and Cutlery are relatively high in value and vary greatly in weight. We calculate shipping charges based mostly on the weight and distance and not on the value of the item. Our intent is to charge you about what it costs us to ship.

North American Service:

Please specify when ordering if you don't want us to backorder an out of stock item. We can generally fill all orders within a few days to 1 week.
All domestic orders are shipped via ground UPS unless otherwise requested. Destinations outside the continental US will incur additional shipping charges.

UPS Ground Service for the 48 continuous US States:

High value packages must be charged for signature requirement and insurance

UPS Expedited Shipping:
 

Second day and overnight shipping is available via UPS for an extra charge.
Heavier parcels are charged more.
Overnight packages shipped Fridays will be delivered on Monday.
Overnight Saturday Delivery (shipped Friday) costs at least $45.
6% sales tax for Michigan purchases only .

Alaska, Hawaii and Territories:
